The Company

A Brief History

The post-war economic recovery stimulated the production of packaging. Compared to the newspaper “cones” of the time, Cellophane emerged as the ideal material for bag manufacturing due to its transparency and resistance to microorganisms.

Did You Know?

CELLOPHANE: invented by a Swiss engineer in the early 20th century, it is a material derived from wood fiber. Its name comes from the combination of the words CELLULOSE and DIAPHANOUS to evoke the transparency of this material, also known as cellulose film.

A Family Story

Combining the expertise of Paul JACQUES, a letterpress printer, and the creative talent of his son Pierre: JACQUES printing developed customization and decoration on Cellophane bags and sachets for pastry and confectionery artisans.

Over time and through generations, new tools, methods, and materials have emerged. But the goal remains unchanged: to stay in line with the trends and demands of our entire clientele.
